Allison R. Layman, LPC
I earned my Masters of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of West Georgia in 2011 and earned a Humanistic Praxis Certificate. I have experience counseling individuals and families with a wide range of diagnoses and treatment goals as a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor.
My experience has centered around working with children and adolescents and their families to help them resolve the issues the family was experiencing. I consulted with psychiatrists and developed a team approach to help overcome the family's challenges.
I offered groups as well and have consulted with school systems to provide small group activities for difficult students.
I am passionate about mindfulness, meditation, and yoga.
