Freedom From Troubled Adult Children
Have you ever reached a place where you were so discouraged and worn out dealing with your older child that you were ready to throw in the towel?
You just weren't sure there would ever be any hope for change?
Where you were so exhausted that you weren't sure you would survive the experience?
Have you ever felt this was the most difficult experience of your life?
Whether your child is a teenager, an adolescent, or an adult, this group can be a refreshing relief. You are not alone. Let us help you put the pieces of the puzzle together to become an empowered mother.
When we have a child that is troubled by substance abuse, has a mental disorder or just creates drama and issues in our home, we face many challenges that other mothers cannot understand.
And the feelings it creates cause us to feel worse about ourselves - guilty, abused, angry and just plain frustrated. And a lot of us have spent lots of money trying to figure out how to deal with the situation.
This group focuses on how to help mothers of troubled young people learn to interact in more effective ways.
It teaches skills to avoid the bait children attempt to use on us and teaches mothers how to quit feeling guilty and take action to care for themselves.
