Through counseling, I help adolescents and adults find practical ways to experience some relief from the stress life brings. Whether you want to learn skills to handle anxiety or feel held back from reaching your goals, I provide a safe and accepting environment for individuals to share their story and grow. I understand worry can weigh you down and finding a work-life balance can be difficult. Utilizing empathy, understanding, and support, I aim to help you gain the skills to handle life's ups and downs in a healthy way.
In 2016, I completed My Masters in Professional Counseling. Working in private practice and psychiatric outpatient settings, I have been able to come alongside folks facing a wide range of issues. My experience includes helping individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, anger, panic attacks and low self-esteem. I believe not only is each person is unique, but their experience with an issue is unique. Thus I take an individual approach to treatment, where clients are at the forefront of the therapeutic process.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
