R. Scott Patterson, LPC
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) I work with individuals, couples, and families to address a multitude of issues. I have trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Beck Institute in Philadelphia and have completed Level 3 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and use Gottman Methods in my work with couples. In addition, I am a Certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator which offers a unique approach to pre-marital and marriage counseling.
I received a Masters of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University in 2011. From 2009 to 2011 I served as a Chaplain in the Pastoral Care Department at University Hospital in Augusta, GA.
I am also a full time Pulpit Minister with over 25 years experience in ministry and in dealing with pastoral concerns. I believe this gives me a unique perspective as a Counselor.
